These Online Terms and Conditions are a contract between you and ZA Online Proprietary Limited

Limited, doing business as ISTORE. ISTORE is referred to in these Online Terms and Conditions as “ISTORE”. These Online Terms and Conditions apply when you use the ISTORE website (located at, buy any products or services through the ISTORE website and also apply to your use of any such goods and services. By accessing the ISTORE website you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Online Terms and Conditions you must not use the ISTORE website.


Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The information, content, services, and features of the ISTORE website, including text, graphics

and links are provided on an "as is" basis. ISTORE does not represent that the ISTORE website or any content, service or feature of the website will be error free, or will meet any particular criteria of accuracy, completeness or reliability of information, performance or quality. ISTORE does not give any warranty, express or implied, in relation to the operation of the ISTORE website.

ISTORE cannot ensure that any files or other data that you download from the ISTORE website will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features.

ISTORE is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third parties in connection with the use of the ISTORE website.

ISTORE is not liable for any damages, liability or harm caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of the ISTORE website, whether for breach of contract, delict, or any other cause of action.

ISTORE is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if ISTORE has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If, despite the exclusion of ISTORE’s liability in these Online Terms and Conditions, ISTORE is found to be liable for any loss or damage caused, ISTORE’s liability is limited to R1000.

These Online Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights, including your rights under any applicable consumer laws that cannot be altered by contract.


Content on the ISTORE website
All content on the ISTORE website, such as information, text, pictures, photographs, graphics, interfaces, and the design, structure and arrangement of the content, belongs to ISTORE or is licensed to ISTORE and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, upload or post any of the content on the ISTORE website without ISTORE’s prior written permission.


Links to third party websites
The ISTORE website may include links to websites operated by third parties. ISTORE is not responsible for the content of those sites. The links to third party websites from the ISTORE website do not imply any responsibility for the content, opinions, representations, products or services provided on those sites. You are responsible for complying with the terms of use of any linked third party websites.

Changes to ISTORE website
The content on the ISTORE website and the products and services offered may change from time to time. No notice of any changes will be given to you. ISTORE may also interrupt the operation of the ISTORE website, or any part of the website, to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, to correct any errors, or make other changes.
If you do not comply with these Online Terms and Conditions when accessing or otherwise using the ISTORE website, ISTORE has the right to suspend your access to the website temporarily or permanently without notice to you. ISTORE may also stop operating the website entirely.
 Sales in South Africa only
Only users in South Africa may buy goods and services through the ISTORE website. ISTORE will only accept orders for delivery addresses in South Africa. Products and services sold through the ISTORE website are intended for use only in South Africa.

By using the ISTORE website you are representing that you are above the age of 18 or, if you are below the age of 18, that you have the permission of your parent or guardian to use the ISTORE website and to buy goods and services through the website.

Billing and personal information
In order to buy goods and services through the ISTORE website, you will need to register an online account with ISTORE. For this purpose you will need provide to ISTORE certain personal information and billing information that will enable ISTORE to charge you for your purchases (such as your credit or debit card details). You must provide accurate and complete registration information when you register an account. You must ensure that your registration information is kept up-to-date. Any personal information or billing information that you provide to ISTORE will be used and retained in accordance with ISTORE’s Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy can be accessed at [insert URL to Privacy Policy] and forms part of these Online Terms and Conditions.

When you set up your account you will choose a user name and password. You will have to use these details to log in to your account. You are responsible for keeping these details confidential. You must notify ISTORE immediately if there is any unauthorized use of or access to your account. ISTORE will not be responsible for any unauthorized use of your user name and password or for any losses that you suffer as a result and you will be responsible for any purchases made using your account, where you have failed to keep your user name and password secure and confidential. You may be held responsible for any losses suffered by ISTORE or any other user of the ISTORE website as a result of your failure to keep your user name and password secure and confidential.

Order process
When you place an order for a product, your order is subject to product availability. If, after you place your order, there is insufficient stock to fulfill your order, ISTORE has the right to cancel your order or any part of your order and refund the purchase price. ISTORE will refund the purchase price based on the original payment method (i.e. to your credit or debit card). You will have the opportunity to review any order for products or services that is placed through the ISTORE website. You can withdraw your order at any time before finally placing it. ISTORE reserves the right to refuse to process an order or not to accept a confirmed order in the event of a technical or any other error in the price displayed or in the product information displayed at the time the order was proceeded. The customer will be refunded any moneys paid should an order not be accepted.

 Payment processing
All transmissions of billing information and data through the ISTORE website are encrypted and

ISTORE takes extensive steps to ensure that any transaction through the ISTORE website is secure. You accept that transactions that are performed over the internet may be vulnerable to being intercepted. ISTORE will not be liable for any interception that occurs and any loss that is suffered as a result, where ISTORE has taken reasonable steps to prevent this happening.


Terms and conditions of sale and return and refund policies


ISTORE will refund or exchange any online purchases within 7 days from the date of receipt as long as the item has not been used or installed and is returned in the original packaging and that the relevant proof of purchase is provided.

A 20% handling fee may be charged on opened / used purchases.

Software products cannot be exchanged or refunded. Products will not be refunded or exchanged due to incompatibility. Please check compatibility information before placing an order. A courier collection fee of R100.00 may be charged on refunds and exchanges. ISTORE will refund the purchase price of any product within 30 days after you cancel your agreement with ISTORE.

ISTORE will give you a refund based on the original payment method used to buy the products.

If you have entered into a contract with a mobile cellular operator for a data package and/or to buy a device, returning a product bought through the ISTORE website will not cancel your contract with the mobile cellular operator. You will continue to be responsible for that contract and for any charges and fees that are associated with that contract. Your right to return products that you bought through a contract with a mobile cellular operator and your right to cancel are governed by your contract with the mobile cellular operator.

Where you buy services though the ISTORE website, you agree that ISTORE can start providing the services before 7 days have passed from the date that you bought the services.

Pricing changes
ISTORE reserves the right at any time and without giving you any advance notice to make changes to the prices of goods and services that are sold through the ISTORE website and to correct any pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. ISTORE is not liable for any typographical errors that may occur.


Changes to the contract
ISTORE reserves the right to make changes to these Online Terms and Conditions at any time.

If you are an existing customer, ISTORE will notify you in advance of any material changes that it intends to make to these Online Terms and Conditions before the changes come into effect. If you do not wish to be bound by the amended contract, you should not continue to use the ISTORE website.


Delivery and collection
All orders will be delivered free of charge. There is no option to collect from ISTORE. A courier company engaged by

ISTORE will perform deliveries. You may be required to provide a valid form of identification when your order is delivered.

ISTORE is not liable for any incorrect order or delivery where you make an error in the information that you provide to ISTORE e.g. if you provide the incorrect delivery address or submit an incorrect order.

You acknowledge that the delivery of your order may be impacted by events beyond ISTORE’s control such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action. ISTORE is not liable for late deliveries of products purchased through the ISTORE website. ISTORE will, however, try to ensure a smooth delivery process.


Other terms and conditions
Additional terms and conditions may apply to specific products and services that are made

available through the ISTORE website and to other features that are made available on the site such as competitions. Those terms and conditions form part of these Online Terms and Conditions and you agree that you are bound by them. If there is a conflict between these Online Terms and Conditions and any specific terms and conditions applicable to any particular product or service or feature of the ISTORE website, the specific terms and conditions will apply.


iStore Online will from time to time allow customers to place Pre-Orders online.

These Pre-Orders are to "secure" launch products as soon as they are made available at iStore Online
Pre-Orders require 100% full payment to be cleared in our system.
EFT payments are subject to the standard terms and conditions of EFT payments

Pre-Orders will be fulfilled as and when iStore Online receive inventory from the supplier. iStore Online will make every effort to fulfill your Pre-Order and in the unlikely event that we cannot supply product against your Pre-Order you will be refunded your payment. Pre-Orders are restricted to one order per customer.

Pre-Orders placed online may not be collected in a physical iStore


Interpreting the contract, governing law and dispute resolution

These Online Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, regardless of conflict of laws principles.
A court may find that some of the provisions of this contract are not enforceable. If this occurs, the remaining provisions of the contract will continue to apply. ISTORE will replace the affected provisions with new provisions that achieve the intended purpose but that are capable of being enforced in your country.
You and ISTORE consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Johannesburg for all disputes arising out of or relating to this contract. If you make a claim under your contract with ISTORE, as set out in these Online Terms and Conditions, you must do so within one year of the date when the cause of action arises. If you do not do so, your claim will be barred.


Record of your transaction
If you need to obtain a sales record of your transaction to buy goods or services through the ISTORE website, you can contact ISTORE within 30 days of the transaction.

Any legal notices that you give ISTORE under this contract must be sent by registered post to PO Box 782162, Sandton, 2146.

Where ISTORE needs to give you any notice as provided for in this contract or provide additional information about the products and services supplied to you, ISTORE will do so by sending you an email or posting a notice on the ISTORE website. You consent to ISTORE providing you with notices or information in this way. 


Factory shop Terms and Conditions:

The iStore Factory shop does not offer training or technical support, iStore Factory Shop customers will however still be able to access training and technical support at all other iStores.The Factory Shop does not offer cellular contracts, trade-in, or iCare products. iStore promotions and special offers are not redeemable in the iStore Factory shop. Stock may vary and availability can only be confirmed upon visiting the Factory Shop. Stock is limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis.  Only debit and credit cards will be accepted. iStore Gift Cards will not be accepted at the Factory Shop.



All products bought at the Factory shop are sold with a warranty. Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch are sold with a 12 month warranty. All other products are sold with a 6 month warranty.


Factory shop- Returns, refunds and exchanges

You may return unopened and fully sealed products purchased at the iStore Factory shop and receive a full refund of the purchase price within the first 7 days of the invoice date. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to the iStore Factory shop together with the original tax invoice. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to iStore together with all its accessories, the original product packaging, original tax invoice and subject to an Internal inspection of the product at our Service Centre. This excludes any bulk deals over five units. iStore will not facilitate any bulk deal returns. All faulty products will be covered in the relevant product warranty.

Where you are eligible for a refund, the purchase price will be refunded to your credit card or, if you paid using another payment method, by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to your bank account. For this purpose you may be required to provide your bank account details to iStore. EFT payment takes 14 working days to process

Unsealed software products, software subscriptions, gift cards and In-ear products may not be returned to iStore and are not eligible for refunds.

Click and Collect

During checkout, you will see an option to select Click and Collect under the Delivery Section.
You will be presented with a list of available stores
Select your store that you wish to pick up from and complete your purchase
If a product is not stocked in a particular store you will not be able to select that store.

A. We will keep you up to date

When you have ordered your items online and successfully made payment, you will receive a Click and Collect order confirmation email.
Once your order has been picked in the store of your choice you will receive an SMS and email with collection instructions.
Please do not arrive at store before we have confirmed your order is ready as it may not be available to collect.

B. Order Collection

Please do not come and collect your order before you receive the collection notification.
When you arrive at the store, a store consultant will be able to assist you with your collection.
We will also ask you to present a valid identification such as an RSA ID document or drivers license.
Should you be unable to collect your order within 7 days we will cancel the order and refund you.

C. Order delays

Sometimes a product ordered is in limited supply in store and a walk-in customer managed to purchase the item before our team picked your order. If this happens, we will do our very best to get a product to your selected store within 24 hours.
Sometimes the product you ordered may have reached 'end of line' between placing your order to being processed, in these cases we will contact you to arrange a refund or supply an alternative product.

D. Refunds, returns and exchanges

We will manage your refund, return or exchange as per our standard terms and conditions.
