Returns, refunds and exchanges
You may return unopened and fully sealed products purchased at any iStore and receive a full refund of the purchase price within the first 7 days of the invoice date. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to iStore together with the original tax invoice. If an item is purchased via the online store a refund can not be processed in a physical store. Should you wish to receive a refund please email a request to [email protected] You may return opened and unsealed products purchased at iStore and receive a refund of the purchase price less 20% within 10 days of the date of purchase. Please check compatibility information before placing an online order. A courier collection fee of R100.00 may be charged on refunds and exchanges iStore levies a charge on returns of unsealed products to cover the costs of repackaging the product for sale. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to iStore together with all its accessories, the original product packaging, original tax invoice and subject to an Internal inspection of the product at our Service Centre. This excludes any bulk deals over five units. iStore will not facilitate any bulk deal returns. All faulty products will be covered in the relevant product warranty.Where you are eligible for a refund, the purchase price will be refunded to your credit card or, if you paid using another payment method, by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to your bank account. For this purpose you may be required to provide your bank account details to iStore. EFT payment takes 14 working days to process
Unsealed software products, software subscriptions, gift cards and In-ear products may not be returned to iStore and are not eligible for refunds. If you have entered into a contract with a mobile cellular operator, returning a product bought from iStore will not cancel your contract with the mobile cellular operator. You will continue to be responsible for that contract and for any charges and fees that are associated with that contract.

The products and services that are sold by iStore are sold “as is” and “as available”. iStore does not give any express guarantee or warranty regarding the performance of any product or services and excludes any implied warranties to the full extent that is permitted by law. The manufacturers of the products sold by iStore may provide a manufacturer’s warranty in respect of their branded products. This manufacturer’s warranty is not given by iStore although iStore may be responsible for providing certain warranty service under this manufacturer’s warranty in terms of its arrangements with those manufacturers.
In the event of a device requiring service You are responsible to ensure that any screen protector, cover or third party add-on is removed prior to obtaining service.
The iStore will not be held liable for the cost to replace any third party add-on’s such as “Screen protectors, Covers etc” as these will have to be removed in order to facilitate any form of service / assessment.
iStore reserves the right at any time and without giving you any advance notice to make changes to the prices of goods and services that are sold through the iStore and to correct any pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. iStore is not liable for any typographical errors that may occur.
Business terms and conditions
Quotations are valid for 7 days, however due to the volatility of the Rand/USD & Rand/Euro exchange rate, please note that prices published by iStore business may change without notice.
Pre-Order terms and conditions
Pre-Orders allows you to secure a newly launched product prior to availability in-store.
Pre-Orders can only be secured by completing an full payment or a deposit payment. iStore may choose to use one or all payment options.
Full payment Pre-Orders are prioritised. iStore will endeavor to ensure that Pre-Orders will be fulfilled as soon an inventory is available, however on occasion there may be delays due to supply constraints.
Should you wish to change or cancel your Pre-Order, you will need to follow the current iStore refund process. Please refer to our refund and return funds section in our terms and conditions
Pre-Orders will be delivered by courier only. You will not be able to collect your Pre-Order from an iStore.
Trade in Terms and conditions

Trade-in is completed in-store only.
The value of the trade-in during the in-store valuation process is subject to the applicant being the lawful owner of the device and the device being in good working order, with no damage whatsoever to the screen, no liquid damage, no damage to the outer shell, including any scratches or small dents, and the device has not had any unauthorised repairs. iStore may reject or decrease the amount of the trade-in valuation if the above conditions are not met or are found to be untrue.
A reduced trade-in amount will be paid if the working Apple charger/power cable does not accompany the device when trading it in. Assessment results are final.
All user data must be removed from the device.
A second evaluation will be completed at the iStore central processing centre to validate the in store grading.
Up to Five qualifying products may be traded in against one new or upgrades on iPhone, Mac, iPad, or Apple Watch purchase, either on cash or cellular contract purchase if applicable.
If the product to be traded in is linked to a cellular contract, that contract needs to be older than 6 months or it needs to be fully settled. Should there be any money outstanding on the device accepting these terms and conditions serves as a declaration that all outstanding money on the device or any obligation to the cellular network for this device will be settled in full, irrespective of whether the device is traded in before the contract expires.
When you buy a new iPhone, Mac, iPad, or Apple Watch for cash, take out a new cellular contract, or upgrade an existing contract the trade in amount will be passed as either an upfront discount on the cash purchases of a new product on same day of a trade-in or as a gift card on other purchases that can be used at a later stage at iStore.
Device Trade-in will not be considered if the serial number on my device has been removed, damaged or hidden or if the device itself has been altered, tampered with in any way. iStore will not be held liable for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, and/or omission that may occur on any of our material.
Only Apple products purchased in South Africa from Authorised Resellers are eligible for trade-in at iStore E&OE.
Additional terms and conditions
Additional terms and conditions may apply to specific products and services that sold by iStore. Those terms and conditions form part of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and you agree that you are bound by them. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions of Sale and any specific terms and conditions applicable to any particular product or service, the specific terms and conditions will apply.
One promotion can not be used in conjunction with another.
Terms and conditions apply. Open box units may be brand new with opened, shop-soiled or without packaging. All products carry a 12-month warranty. All offers are valid while stocks last. Stock levels may vary by store and can only be checked at your nearest store. Stock cannot be checked centrally from the call centre as stock will change throughout the day. No stock can be reserved as purchases will be treated on a first come first serve basis. Discount on Demo stock excludes the iStore factory store. Certain product deals are limited to a certain number of units. Once the pre-determined number of units has been reached, the deal will come to an end and the product will be sold at the normal price. Offers valid from 24 May to 10 June 2018 or while stocks last and are not valid in the factory store. Vodacom terms and conditions apply. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Accessories do not include devices shown in the images. We will not be held liable for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, typing error and/or omission that may occur on any of our material. E&OE.
Factory shop Terms and Conditions
The iStore Factory shop does not offer training or technical support, iStore Factory Shop customers will however still be able to access training and technical support at all other iStores.The Factory Shop does not offer cellular contracts, trade-in, or iCare products. iStore promotions and special offers are not redeemable in the iStore Factory shop. Stock may vary and availability can only be confirmed upon visiting the Factory Shop. Stock is limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted. iStore Gift Cards will not be accepted at the Factory Shop.
All products bought at the Factory shop are sold with a warranty. Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch are sold with a 12 month warranty. All other products are sold with a 6 month warranty.

iStore & FNB Offer
These terms and conditions, together with the trade-in Terms and Conditions apply when purchasing an Apple product from iStore through the iStore & FNB Offer.
What is the iStore & FNB Offer?
It is a facility provided by FNB and iStore that gives you a trade-in opportunity at 12 or 24 months with an extended term to pay off your Apple product at a reduced interest rate.
FNB will transfer the value of your selected products to a budget facility on your FNB credit card, over the budget instalment term at 10% interest, with an option to trade in at 12 or 24 months.
The budget instalment will be payable as per the standard terms and conditions on your FNB credit card.

iStore may change the terms and conditions for the iStore & FNB Offer as a result of changes in legislation, changes to the agreements with our suppliers, and/or changes to business rules. Please therefore keep yourself fully informed of the terms and conditions for the iStore & FNB Offer at all times, as this remains your responsibility.
You agree that we may share with FNB all your information, including information pertaining to the trade-in and this contract. We may also forward a copy of this contract to FNB.
Ownership of the device vests in the Customer and no third party shall have any right, title or interest in and to the device.
iStore shall at all times be entitled to cede its rights and delegate its obligations, in terms hereof, to any third party.
A reference to iStore means ZA Online Store (Pty) Ltd t/a iStore (Registration Number 2003/022401/07), its nominees, orders or assigns.
iStore Trade-in Terms and Conditions:
Trade-ins are completed in-store only.
Assessment results pertaining to the condition of the device shall be determined by iStore and are final and binding.
All user data must be removed from the device.
Device trade-in will not be considered if the serial number on the device has been removed, damaged or hidden or if your device itself has been altered, tampered or meddled with in any way.
iStore will not be held liable for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, and/or omission that may occur on any of our material. E&OE (errors and omissions excepted).
iOS (iPhone & iPad) device Trade-in guidelines.
The value of the committed amount is subject to the Customer being the lawful owner of the device and the device being in good working order and condition and in particular:
there is no damage whatsoever to the Display and case there is no liquid damage
there is no damage to the outer shell or casing
the device must be 100% functional
the device has not had any unauthorised repairs and there has been no modification to the device and nor has the device been opened or tampered with.
iStore may cancel the trade in or reduce the amount if the above conditions are not met or are found to be untrue.
For iPad and iPhone: A reduced trade-in amount will be offered if a working Apple charger and cable do not accompany the device.
Apple Find my iPhone must be deactivated on the device.
For iPhone and iPad, the grading criteria are as follows: Visual inspection to determine external condition:
Very light scratches - no value reduction
Light but noticeable scratches on case - 10% reduction in value
Light but noticeable scratches on display - 20% reduction in value Noticeable dents or significant scratches - 30% reduction in value Device bent/cracked or other severe damage - 75% reduction in value
Device functional tests – there will be a 90% reduction in value if the device does not function properly in respect of any of the following:
Display check - discolouration and touch functionality Home button
Cameras front and back
Cellular and Sim recognition Microphone and Speaker Charging and Battery holds charge Other Buttons
Sim Tray present
Find my iPhone disabled - trade-in rejected if not disabled
A value is determined by taking Excellent Condition value as determined by iStore less the value reductions above. The reductions are not cumulative.
Reduction in trade-in value for charger and cables missing is R150 per item (maximum R300)
