iStore's revised iPhone iCare Plus range brings you the cover that you need for your most loved device. iCare Extended Warranty Bundle as you knew it is no longer be available. But don’t fret, if you have purchased the iCare Extended Warranty bundle prior to 30 September 2017, you will still have access to your extended warranty for the 2 year duration from your original invoice date. 

 

We now have 3 versions of iCare Plus for iPhone, namely iCare Plus for iPhone SE and iPhone 6, iCarePlus for iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 and iCare Plus of iPhone X. All of which includes an Apple Authorised screen repair and an extended warranty that covers your device for 24 months. 

 

iCare Plus also gives you access to all the benefits iStore has to offer, like free training, expert service and technical support so you can get the most out of your iPhone. Take note that you cannot buy your device elsewhere and still buy iCare Pus from iStore - it’s a benefit available to iStore customers only.

What does iCare Plus cover?

 

It keeps your iPhone hardware in tact

 

If you find that there is a defect with your iPhone’s hardware, you can submit a claim to iStore to have it repaired. The defect will either be repaired at no charge, using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in terms of performance and reliability or alternatively, we will exchange it with an iPhone that is the exact same model. These may contain new or refurbished parts but they will be equivalent to that of a new device in terms of performance and reliability so you have nothing to worry about!

 

It’s a safety net for the dreaded screen crack

 

‘Screen damage’ is the result of accidentally mishandling or dropping your iPhone causing the screen to crack - it happens to the best of us. The great news is that you can now get this replaced the Apple Authorised way which will safeguard your warranty. When you have iCare Plus, all you have to do is notify iStore and we provide you with the repair. There is a service fee that you need to pay for the repair which ranges between R1000-R1800.

 

It’s a hotline to your technical expert

 

With iCare Plus comes telephonic technical assistance for things like installation, launch, configuration, troubleshooting, including storing, retrieving, and managing files and determining when a hardware service is required or screen damage coverage may apply.

What is the benefit of getting a screen repair with iCare Plus from iStore?

 

A screen repair could cost you up to R8 000 elsewhere and more importantly - these screen repairs are often not done in the Apple Authorised way which means your warranty could be voided. Instead, at iStore, for a small service fee (much less than the cost of a screen repair) you will get an Apple Authorised screen repair.

What does iCare Plus not cover?

 

1.  Devices purchased from resellers other than iStore or ones that have been serviced by a non Apple Authorised Service Provider.
2.  Damage caused by something external like a fire or an earthquake or even if you tossed your iPhone out the window on a particular day that you’d rather not speak about again. These things happen, but unfortunately repair will not be covered.
3.  Devices that were damaged after they were lost or stolen.
4.  Scratches or dents which are deemed to be cosmetic damage. 

 

Please note that during the time of repair, no iPhone will be provided as a temporary replacement so have a back up phone ready just in case. iStore also retains the right to inspect each device prior to approving the repair of your damaged iPhone. Oh, and remember to make a back-up and turn off “Find my iPhone” before you visit us in the event that you need your screen repaired.
